Software engineer - Architect-level, owns features from DB to deployment

Role Description

We’re looking for a Remote Software Engineer (Architect-Level) to help ship Craefto’s internal and client products from MVP to launch.

You’ll own system architecture, guide development, and collaborate directly with the founder to build reliable, scalable, and beautifully crafted web applications that embody each brand’s DNA. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic oversight — ideal for someone who wants to create, lead, and make visible impact at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical development of Craefto’s SaaS and WaaS platforms.
• Architect scalable systems.
• Review pull requests, mentor project stakeholders, and enforce clean code standards.
• Work closely with design and strategy teams to align tech delivery with brand intent.
• Manage deployments, integrations, and API-driven systems for clients and internal tools.
• Support rapid iteration from prototype → MVP → production launch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or shipping full-stack projects.
• Strong command of TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and back-end frameworks like Supabase, Firebase, or similar.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, databases, and API integrations.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/GitHub), and scalable hosting workflows.
• Extensive skill to use AI-assisted development workflows (Cursor, Claude, or automation agents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
