At Shinesty, our mission is to force the world to take itself less seriously. We make people laugh first and sell second. Our mothers don't always approve of what we do, but the millions of people we've entertained over the years do.

We're looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial Ecommerce Product Manager to own and optimize Shinesty's digital storefront. This person will be responsible for driving site performance, including conversion rate, AOV, integrations, and the overall customer experience. They will manage the digital roadmap and coordinate flawless product and campaign launches across the site.

Over the next year, this role will play a pivotal part in Shinesty's migration from a headless architecture to a Shopify Plus theme, ensuring a seamless transition that balances performance, flexibility, and brand experience. They will also lead ongoing optimization of onsite subscription flows for the Hot Tub Club, improving sign-up, management, and upgrade experiences to drive engagement and retention.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creative and technical, knows Shopify inside and out, and can turn insights into scalable improvements. You'll report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with our internal development partner and cross-functional teams across Creative, Marketing, and Merchandising to deliver seamless launch execution from planning through QA and post-mortem analysis.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Experimentation

  • Propose, design, and manage A/B and multivariate tests across site experiences
  • Use tools like StatSig, GA4, and heatmaps to analyze performance and customer behavior across traffic sources and devices.
  • Translate insights into actionable site updates and scalable best practices

Digital Roadmap & Feature Management

  • Own the website roadmap - scoping, prioritizing, and managing rollouts for new features, integrations, and technical improvements
  • Support execution for Shinesty's migration from a headless setup to a Shopify Plus theme, partnering closely with development partners to ensure a smooth transition and no disruption to the customer experience
  • Partner with our internal development counterpart to define requirements, QA, and deployment timelines
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Launch Execution

  • Lead digital readiness for all product and campaign launches, ensuring product pages, collections, navigation, landing pages, and creative assets are live, functional, and aligned across channels
  • Coordinate with Creative, Marketing, and Merchandising to maintain launch timelines and manage go-live checklists
  • Partner with development to QA and troubleshoot pre- and post-launch issues
  • Lead post-launch analysis, capturing learnings to improve process efficiency and customer experience for future drops

Performance Analytics

  • Own site performance metrics including conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, and page speed
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track trends and identify improvement opportunities
  • Present findings to leadership and recommend data-backed actions

Process & Tooling

  • Manage Shinesty's ecommerce tech stack: Shopify Plus, Searchspring, StatSig, Klaviyo, GA4, and related tools. Evaluate new integrations and technologies that improve performance, UX, or workflow efficiency
  • Streamline operational processes between teams to reduce friction and increase speed to market

Competencies & Culture Fit

You bring:

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Clear communication and project management skills
  • Collaborative energy - you can translate between creative, technical, and business teams
  • Curiosity and initiative - you don't wait for permission to improve something
  • Comfort with fast-moving, evolving DTC environments

Must-Haves

  • 4+ years managing ecommerce or digital product/website roles (Shopify experience essential)
  • Must have prior experience working for a DTC apparel or consumer brand, ideally with direct accountability for site performance and customer experience
  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rate and AOV
  • Hands-on experience with CRO programs, analytics tools, and A/B testing frameworks Deep understanding of Shopify Plus (themes, limitations, and best practices)
  • Strong grasp of analytics: GA4, funnel analysis, and customer journey metrics
  • Excellent communicator able to work with dev, creative, marketing, and merchandising High accountability and attention to detail- you own outcomes, not just tasks

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Searchspring or similar search/filter tools
  • Experience with Klaviyo, StatSig, or other personalization/testing tools
  • Basic knowledge of Liquid, HTML/CSS, or front-end development constraints
  • Experience managing third-party integrations or site migrations
