DATA SCIENTIST ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Data Scientist Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is an AI-driven software company specializing in autonomous, resilient supply chain planning and optimization.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Python and machine learning libraries, including scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Experience in enterprise-scale deep learning, forecasting, and decision-making models.
A deep algorithmic background will be thoroughly evaluated.
Strong experience building decisioning models at scale using deep reinforcement learning or other approaches.
Understanding how to build and deploy high-performance deep-learning models using either TensorFlow or PyTorch on complex industrial/commercial datasets.
Significant experience in time-series modelling.
Solid knowledge of deep learning.
Understanding deploying end-to-end ML models to production.
Experience with time-series data analysis.
Experience in software engineering.
Quick learner with the ability to learn independently.
Excellent problem solver who is both methodical and creative. You can learn any new technology, are not ashamed of admitting errors, love to take on new challenges, and are a great team player.
Be comfortable with remote work and a distributed team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Have

Familiarity with Web Dev tools such as Flask and JavaScript is a plus
Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes
"Big Data" solutions such as Spark, and Kafka
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS/GCP/Azure
A PhD or MS in an analytical field such as CS, EE, Statistics, Math, or Physics, along with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience building referenceable work.
