As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our back-end systems. You'll collaborate closely with our talented team to architect, develop and optimize robust and scalable solutions.

Your mission

• Drive the design, development, and optimization of back-end solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Mentor and guide team members, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Architect and implement highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to address complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine system architecture and design.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.
• Drive the adoption of testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure the quality and stability of our software products.
• Document technical designs, processes, and decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in back-end software development, with a strong focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• Proficiency in PHP, with expertise in frameworks such as Laravel.
• Excellent communication skills (English) and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international team environment.
• Strong understanding of caching strategies and techniques to improve API performance.
• Experience building and maintaining open RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Bonus Points

• Experience in DevOps is valuable for this position
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, selecting the correct services and navigating the infrastructure for support and debugging purposes.
