We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join us at Vello as we take our next big leap in empowering healthcare and well-being professionals with cutting-edge digital tools.

We are a dedicated team building essential digital tools with cutting-edge technologies to empower healthcare and well-being professionals. Our mission is to enhance patient experiences, simplify management, streamline scheduling and payment services, and ensure secure patient record management. Although we are a small team, over 4 million people worldwide use Vello every year. Our clients range from large corporations, financial institutions, and cities to small businesses and individuals. As a senior full-stack developer you are a crucial contributor in setting and achieving our next goals together.

Technologies

Our infrastructure runs on AWS, powered by a fully RESTful Node.js backend. On the front end, we work with Vue 2 & 3, Nuxt 3, and Backbone.js, with styling handled through LESS and Tailwind. You’ll also get hands-on experience with a wide range of API-driven services—including payments, authentication, messaging, and patient record management.

Your experience

You’re a great fit if you bring 4+ years of practical full-stack experience from real-world projects. You’re a curious, adaptable developer who enjoys working on polished UIs and tweaking the back-end.

Ideally, you have experience with Vue 2 or 3 and Node.js, and you care deeply about delivering visually polished, well-finished user experiences. Experience with other front-end frameworks is a great plus.

We value a proactive mindset: someone who’s curious, willing to explore and experiment, and ready to take ownership of their work. In this role, you’ll get to build new features from the ground up, enhance existing ones, and actively contribute to the design process to help shape the best solutions with the team.
