As a Junior Data Engineer at Recordly, you get to work hands-on with data alongside experienced colleagues. We hope your background includes up to 1 year of experience working with data. As far as skills go, we appreciate the following experience:

• Solid SQL skills - applied in tasks such as data retrieval and analysis, using analytical functions, creating and managing database views, and assigning access permissions
• Some hands-on technology experience that includes building data pipeline
• Basic experience with data modeling, data warehousing and building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Understanding of Python fundamentals
• Basic understanding of Data Lake architecture, Data Warehousing concepts, and common Data Analytics tools
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, especially for data-related tasks
• Familiar with version control like GitHub
• Familiar with business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI)
• Interested in learning and contributing to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices within data platform developmen
