Title: Product Manager, Forestry Digital Solutions and Machine Automation
Major Duties
Your Responsibilities
As a Product Manager, Digital Solutions and Machine Automation for John Deere Forestry located in Tampere, Finland, you will drive the commercialization of digital solutions in support our forestry production systems. You’ll identify and prioritize customer solutions and execute the strategy to improve the operator experience, machine productivity, and increase the availability of production data for our forestry stakeholders through our cloud based, on-board, and off-board digital solutions.
- Uncover opportunities for new digital solutions that address forestry customers’ needs and drive business impact.
- Scope digital solution requirements in partnership with Product Line Stakeholders, Region, and ISG-Intelligent Solutions Group teams to ensure forestry digital solutions portfolio is aligned with customer and business needs.
- Lead discovery activities to validate proposed solutions, collecting feedback from dealers and customers to refine positioning and usability.
- Create compelling value proposition content that clearly communicates the value of new solutions and supports sales growth.
- Develop and execute marketing launch plans, in coordination with appropriate product line stakeholders.
- Monitor and own performance metrics specific to forestry digital solutions products —including adoption, utilization, and renewal rates—and use insights to optimize the strategy.
- Communicate progress, learnings, and opportunities across the organization to ensure alignment and momentum in solution delivery.
- Collaborate across the organization to deliver enabling capabilities for forestry digital solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and drive alignment across product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Knowledge of forestry digital technologies, products, and solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- 3 or more years of experience in product marketing, with the dealer channel, product engineering or in a related field.
- Experience collecting and applying customer and dealer feedback to refine product and positioning.
- Familiarity with Forestry digital solutions, IE – TimberMatic, TimberManager, and or competitive offerings.
- Experience in forestry industry and/or forestry industry companies.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and solve problems.
- Demonstrated success in driving adoption and utilization of technology offerings.
- Experience developing or marketing digital solutions, software, or service offerings.

Position is permanent and full-time and open both internally and externally. Starting date will be agreed separately. Salary is according to the salary grade, considering your experience.
