Lead Product Manager

Preacta
Australia · Full-time · Director

As the Lead Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in both the strategy and execution of my clients product roadmap. You will be responsible for guiding a team of three Product Managers, mentoring them, and ensuring they align with my clients broader product vision. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure they are delivering exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint.

You’ll need to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term tactical execution, ensuring their products not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your deep understanding of customer experience, paired with your ability to lead and collaborate, will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three Product Managers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality products.
  • Develop and execute the product strategy in alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritise and execute on a product roadmap that focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Use data, customer feedback, and market insights to drive decision-making, ensuring products solve real problems and create value for our users.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where your team is empowered to think big and execute with precision.
  • Be a key voice in defining and evolving the product vision and strategy for both short-term releases and long-term goals.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in the product development process, from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a minimum of 8+ years in product management, including at least 2 years leading a team of PMs.
  • Strong expertise in customer experience and a deep understanding of what drives user satisfaction and engagement.
  • A track record of strategic thinking and execution—you can set a vision and lead your team to deliver on it, while also diving into the details when needed.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment, managing multiple priorities, and balancing long-term goals with immediate deliverables.
  • Experience with B2C product management is a plus, though not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
