We are seeking an HR Generalist for our site in France for a growing international company in the food and beverage industry. The position will provide operational HR support and ensure that all HR processes comply with French labor law and company policies. The postholder will report to the EMEA HR Business Partner and be part of a small global HR team.


Responsibilities


Personnel Administration

  • Monitoring and validation of employment contracts; drafting addendum for permanent and fixed-term contracts.
  • Onboarding process for apprentices: completion of CERFA forms, DPAE declarations, and coordination with managers via the HRIS system.
  • Management of employee onboarding and off-boarding tracking in the HRIS system and sending end-of-contract documents to departed employees.
  • Updating employee records: processing global and local onboarding documents.
  • Processing and tracking payroll variables, sent to the external accounting firm (legal and contractual leave, CET payments, bonuses, entries, exits, contract changes, etc.).
  • Validation of payslips.


Health, Safety & Working Conditions

  • Coordination and scheduling of pre-employment medical examinations.
  • Management of workplace accidents: declarations via Net-Entreprise.


Employee Relations & Disciplinary Procedures

  • Preparation and facilitation of Works Council (CSE) meetings (BDESE, social policies, etc.).
  • Declaration and posting of the Gender Equality Index.
  • HR communications and mandatory postings.
  • Management of disciplinary procedures: drafting documents related to warnings, sanctions, and dismissals.
  • Conducting disciplinary interviews.


Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Defining recruitment needs with managers.
  • Drafting and sending job offers to selected candidates.
  • Conducting validation interviews with candidates, if necessary.


Training & Skills Development

  • Collecting training needs from departments.
  • Liaising with training providers and OPCOs.


Career Management & Internal Mobility

  • Supporting internal mobility pathways.
  • Identifying talents and high potentials.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Participation in salary review campaigns.
  • Monitoring employee benefits (meal vouchers, profit-sharing schemes, etc.).


HR Reporting & Metrics

  • Tracking HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, compensation, etc.).
  • Preparing dashboards for management and the Works Council.


HR Projects

  • Developing a new Employee Handbook.
  • Contributing to HR projects such as training, digitalization of HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, or policy updates.
  • Supporting EMEA HR projects and initiatives as required.


Knowledge and skills

  • 5 years of experience in HR coordination or generalist roles in France.
  • Native French and high proficiency in English are a must.
  • Solid knowledge of French labor law, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Cornerstone or similar) and basic payroll administration.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
