Data Analyst

Data Specialist 2-3month Contract role

• Join a leading organisation as a Data Specialist for a 2-3 month contract.
• Based in the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane, with hybrid working available.
• This role offers a salary equivalent of up to $140k + super.
• To be considered for this role you must be currently based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data to identify organisational risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Manage and integrate internal and external data sources, ensuring data integrity and relevance.
• Define and report on KPIs for the Board and Executive Management Team.
• Oversee BI systems, including Data Warehouse management and report development.
• Develop standard and bespoke reports; support teams in using BI tools effectively.
• Facilitate compliance reporting for government and external stakeholders.
• Manage external data sources and subscriptions, ensuring valuable insights are captured.
• Tools: Power Automate, SQL, Power BI, Excel.

About you:

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting in a similar role.
• Strong skills in Power Automate, SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Experience managing BI systems and data warehouses.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with KPI development and performance monitoring.
• Understanding of compliance reporting processes is a plus.
