We are seeking a highly capable and driven Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager with extensive Cloud knowledge to lead our team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the success of the SRE team
- Build and manage a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering unit at the location
- Support team members in achieving their career development goals and enhancing their skills
- Create and optimize organizational structures to ensure effective operations within the SRE team
- Attract and onboard highly skilled SRE professionals to strengthen the team
- Monitor team performance, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are addressed
- Collaborate across departments to align technical strategies with the company’s overall vision
- Deliver Cloud-focused solutions optimized to meet specific client needs
- Translate complex business objectives into technical designs and scalable architectures
- Define technical tasks and assign them to engineers to ensure seamless project delivery
- Utilize expertise in data architecture to implement efficient management and retention strategies
- Promote Cloud best practices, including security protocols, monitoring techniques, and cost-management strategies
- Communicate technical insights clearly to teams of engineers and business stakeholders
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience working in Site Reliability Engineering roles
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams of five or more individuals in roles such as Architect, Manager, or Project Owner
- Proficiency in software engineering, systems engineering, and Cloud environments, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with an emphasis on optimization
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, along with advanced practices for monitoring and security
- Background in managing production infrastructure using tools like Terraform
- Proficiency in at least one build automation tool, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, or GoCD
- Experience throughout various stages of project lifecycle management, ensuring successful delivery
- Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for efficient Cloud platform permissions management
- Competency in managing teams and fostering collaboration with stakeholders
- Expertise in designing systems that balance scalability, performance, and reliability while integrating robust monitoring solutions
- Command of English at B2+ level or higher, with exceptional communication abilities

- Cloud certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Developer to enhance architectural solutions
- Background in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# to support automation and software development efforts
