We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge, large-scale systems. You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing highly available infrastructure and services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SRE who enjoys solving complex challenges, automating everything possible, and improving system reliability across multiple environments.
As a Senior SRE, you’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps specialists, and product teams to design resilient architectures, enhance deployment pipelines, and ensure operational excellence in a modern cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Partner with development teams to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems built with Java (Spring Boot, Java 21).
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Contribute to automation and operational tooling through Python, Ruby, or Bash scripting.
- Ensure observability through effective logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, driving continuous improvements in uptime and reliability.
- Champion best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and security across teams.
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Software Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Solid programming background in Java (Spring Boot); knowledge of JavaScript (React) is an advantage.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of API development, microservice architecture, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Work with modern technologies in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with a skilled, cross-functional team focused on innovation and reliability.
