JOB SUMMARY

The Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences

innovation. TDS houses our advanced technology acquisitions, homegrown products & applications,

actively participates in new M&A and partnership activities, delivers critical insights as part of our

integrated strategy for customers and drives enterprise-wide adoption and change management for

innovative tech & data solutions. Our work supports getting meaningful new medicines to patients faster,

with greater positive impact.

This position supports our business goals by designing, creating and developing software for both the front

and back-end to meet the business needs of our customers both external and internal.

Job Responsibilities

Design and create applications for multiple platforms
Contribute to front and back-end development processes. This includes creating interfaces with

detailed coding knowledge. Back end will leverage programming languages like Python or PHP to

understand algorithms and business logic.

Build new product features or APIs, enable software to exchange information across different

applications.

Collaborate with QA to test, troubleshoot and fix bugs.
Basic UI (user interface) knowledge and design principles to partner with the larger team.
Ability to design, understand and manipulate database queries.
Ability to partner with a global team to deliver against customer expectations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or experience in related fields.
Full stack development experience
3 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript is a must
3 years of hands-on experience with NodeJS frameworks – Next.js and/or Svelte is a must
Experience with NestJs is nice to have
Ability to build UI interfaces using Figma mockups
Hands on experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress and Jest is a must
Good understanding of MVC architecture fundamentals and full stack development
Hands on experience designing, building, and deploying APIs is nice to have
Hands on experience using CI/CD tools, if not CD at least working with CI tools such as Git is a must
Hands on experience with Postgres or databases alike is a must
Experience with GraphQL is nice to have
Must be organized, detail oriented and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication both written and verbal
