Data Scientist – Eindhoven, Netherlands
The Position
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance vehicle diagnostics through data-driven innovation, we are seeking a Data Scientist to support the development of analytical models and insights for the DAVIE diagnostic software.
In this role, you will explore and analyze diagnostic data to uncover trends and opportunities, build predictive models using machine learning techniques, and translate findings into actionable business insights. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical tools and processes.
You will also be responsible for sharing expertise, coaching team members, and presenting results to middle and senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Core Activities
- Data exploration and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
- Model development using standard and advanced machine learning techniques
- Translating model outputs into meaningful business insights
- Continuous optimization of models and analytical approaches based on new data and feedback
- Engaging with stakeholders to manage interests and expectations
- Sharing knowledge of data science tools and methods, and coaching others in their application
Monthly deliverables include:
- Data analysis reports summarizing trends and anomalies
- Optimization insights for model and process improvements
- Business impact assessments for operational and strategic decisions
- Data models and pipelines for preprocessing, modeling, and deployment
- Documentation of technical guides and best practices
- Dashboards and visualizations for stakeholder engagement
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science and/or Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in the automotive domain
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Analytical mindset and creativity
Working Conditions
- On-site presence preferred for optimal collaboration
- Full-time availability from January 1st, 2026 to December 31st, 2026
- Possibility of extension or earlier start
