iOS Architect

We are currently looking for an iOS Architect to join our client, in the Energy/Utilities industry, based in Lisbon.

The client are one of the largest energy companies globally, and have established a new Tech hub in Lisbon as part of a huge technological transformation. This is an exciting time to join, with multiple teams being built from the ground-up.

Responsibilities

• Close cooperation with architects to successfully pass on specialist knowledge, requirements, and solutions as a multiplier.
• Conception and further development of code design guidelines and architecture standards for iOS.
• Carrying out technical reviews and establishing best practices.
• Being a technical sparring partner for developers, product owners, and UX.
• Driving innovation in iOS projects within interdisciplinary and international product development teams.
• Applying our guidelines independently and implementing critical or particularly complex passages – from conception to implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with 10+ years of professional experience.
• At least 4+ years of experience in professional iOS app development.
• Proven expertise in the design of modular and maintainable app architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of code design, clean code, and architecture principles.
• Excellent knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager and persistent database systems such as SwiftData or technologically equivalent alternatives.
• Deep understanding of iOS system architecture, performance optimization, and UI design principles.
• Fluent in English - Portugese or German a big plus
