Senior Business Controller Manager - International Company in Brussels

Your responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor a team of 3 business controllers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Oversee financial reports, analyze performance, and ensure timely and accurate reporting across international operations
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and adjusting forecasts as needed
• Provide financial insights to support senior management in decision-making and long-term planning
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and analyze profitability by region, product, and service
• Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls
• Work with other departments to provide financial support and align on objectives
• Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting efficiency
• Assess and mitigate financial risks across international operations
• Lead special projects and provide financial analysis to support business growth

Your profile:

• Master’s in Sciences Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in Business Control on financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a complex organization
• Prior experience in leading and managing a team of at least 3 business controllers or finance professionalsYou are fluent in French and Dutch
• You possess strong leadership abilities and a proactive mindset. You should have a natural ability to inspire and motivate their team, take initiative in driving change, and take ownership of tasks and projects
• You are a decisive leader who can make informed decisions, even under pressure
• You are not afraid to be operational, to impose and have already work with high level responsibilities
• You must be comfortable with both strategic oversight and hands-on, operational tasks. Experience in taking on high-level responsibilities, with the ability to balance both the tactical and strategic elements of financial management, is a must. You should be able to get into the details when needed while keeping the broader business objectives in focus.
