DevOps Engineer

Freelance – Remote - Spain

We're looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will help scale their latest product and build its architecture from scratch.

They are a fast-growing startup that's building the next generation of customer feedback tools.

Their team is distributed between beautiful Copenhagen in Denmark, and sunny Barcelona in Spain.

Your mission:

You’ll be the architect behind a high-performing, automated cloud setup — working remotely from anywhere in Spain:

• Design and build scalable deployments on GCP
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform / Ansible
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins)
• Monitor and improve system performance and uptime
• Collaborate with dev teams working in Python and Node.js
• Contribute to backend automation and ensure smooth delivery

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience in DevOps principles and methodologies (Agile, GitOps).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Solid knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
• Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
