Our client is a specialist biotherapeutics manufacturer with over a century of experience treating various diseases worldwide. They are committed to patients with coagulation disorders, immunological diseases, enzyme deficiency diseases and other rare diseases.
Our client is current looking for a:
HR Operations Support Specialist
based in Bern, on a 12-months contract with possibility of extension.
Main Responsibilities:
- Answer and process HR inquiries for selected European countries (e.g., Workday processes, parental leave, working hours) in both German and English.
- Forward complex queries to relevant HR teams (e.g., Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners).
- Capture, manage, and document inquiries in the electronic ticketing system.
- Input, verify, and close Workday processes, ensuring accurate approvals for personnel actions.
- Monitor data accuracy in HR systems (e.g., SAP, Employee Cloud) and address discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Perform functionality tests and process adjustments in Workday.
- Create employee-related documents (contracts, certificates, etc.) in German and English.
- Draft standard and ad-hoc correspondence in both languages.
- Organize and archive employee documents, handle incoming/outgoing mail, and ensure timely document returns.
- Support in HR projects, reporting (KPIs, statistics), and process documentation updates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- Previous HR operations experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Workday/SAP is a plus.
