We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our Digital and Integration development team. As a Software Developer, you will primarily focus on the Java ecosystem for backend development, opening services to channels and utilize React for frontend applications optionally. Your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency and reliability of our digital applications with the integration of backend systems, and you'll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment. This position is full-time, location is Bucharest Romania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based, spring boot, microservice backend services.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Experience in Git for version control, code collaboration, and repository management.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• React in front end development and mobile application development knowledge is a plus.
• CoreFinans know-how is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend and nice to have React, JavaScript & TypeScript frontend technologies knowledge.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in software engineering.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Design and develop Microservices systems with Java, Spring.
• Good understanding of object-oriented concepts and technologies such as software architectures, design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Git for version control and code collaboration.
• Self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality code and solutions within project timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with agile development practices and Scrum.
• Experience in Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Loyalty, Payment Systems and system integrations is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
