Due to our continuous grow Tata Technologies Nordics AB is now looking to recruit an Analysis Engineer for Thermal Efficiency & Energy Verification to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The role
The Energy Efficiency Centre is at the heart of clients sustainability mission. The team of around 12 engaged engineers works across R&D to drive improvements in energy consumption and electric range. Team also ensure the vehicle withstands heat rejected from the engine through knowhow and verification.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and perform the physical verification tests in wind tunnels and other rigs.
- Analyse test results, draw conclusions, and propose technical improvements for our vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimise vehicle energy efficiency, with focus on thermal systems.
- Set up and operate measurement systems, using equipment such as INCA, IPEtronik, and DeWe Soft.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
-Occasionally work overtime or evening shifts as required by test schedule.
Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or similar).
- Experience in testing energy systems and using measurement equipment.
- Familiarity with vehicle systems and attributes (powertrain, transmission, aerodynamics).
- Analytical, curious, and passionate about understanding how systems interact in a car.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communicator, able to present technical results clearly.
- Holder of a valid driver’s licence (B).
Meritorious:
- Experience with simulation tools (CFD, CAE, Star CCM+, PreonLab).
- Programming or data analysis skills (e.g., Python).
