About the Role

Joining thyssenkrupp IT Competence Center, you will become a part of a team of dedicated professionals, who support and develop Global IT Applications and thyssenkrupp infrastructure worldwide. Your responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the application development platform.
• Manage the service lifecycle: track dependency and infrastructure releases, update platform components (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Harbor, Jenkins).
• Coordinate and support tests with business partners before rollouts.
• Plan and communicate rollouts, including new releases.
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
• Support internal teams in adopting DevSecOps practices with the provided tools.
• Maintain IT infrastructures in line with group requirements.
• Further develop existing solutions and related operational processes.
• Design, discuss, and document system architecture concepts.
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle processes by improving existing scripts or developing new ones, following GitOps principles.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance tools for monitoring and alerting.

Your profile

• Proven experience in technical consulting, implementation, and administration of:
• Server and network technologies, Linux (RedHat), Kubernetes, Azure.
• Developer tools based on Git (Bitbucket).
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Artifact and container repositories (Azure Container Registry, Harbor, Artifactory).
• Bug and project management tools (Jira).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), CNCF monitoring and alerting solutions, and cloud services (Azure IaaS/PaaS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• English at B2 level or higher, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD and Java-based projects.
• Experience with Tekton pipelines.
• German language skills.
