Freelance Network Support L1

Brainotech IT Solutions — a Germany-based IT services provider delivering worldwide on-site IT and network support through our global network of freelance engineers.

We are currently hiring for one of our international clients for Freelance Level 1 Network Support Engineers to handle on-site dispatch tasks in Wroclaw, Poland.

🔧 Role Overview

As a Network L1 Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for handling on-site, ticket-based support tasks. This includes troubleshooting, installations, migrations, and general IT/network support. Tasks are dispatched on-call and scheduled during weekday business hours only (no weekend or after-hours work).

📋 Project Details

• Contract Type: Freelance
• Duration: 1 year (with possible extension)
• Work Type: On-call, on-site dispatch
• Compensation: Based on task duration (hourly, half-day, or full-day rates)
• Basic Must-have Tools: Windows laptop, console cable, Ethernet cable

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Perform rack and stack installations for networking equipment
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and connectivity issues
• Manage structured cabling, patching, and printer support
• Provide console access and assist in system migrations/deployments
• Handle imaging/re-imaging and other IT/network-related field tasks as dispatched 

🎓 Preferred (Nice to Have)

• CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification (or currently pursuing)

Tasks are assigned on-call and scheduled only during weekday business hours. This role is not suitable for those available only after hours or on weekends.
