Seeking a meticulous and expert Senior Engineer - Site Reliability (12 months Contract) to build and support the Presight delivery model that empowers product & technology teams to develop & deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure and strengthen the reliability of products and solutions. You play a key role in defining & establishing the delivery model deployed in the development of cutting edge, next-gen analytics solutions & services at Presight.

As a Senior Engineer – Site Reliability, you will be responsible for working with relevant stakeholders to drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline that power the Presight delivery model.

As a Senior Engineer – Site Reliability, you will be responsible for working with relevant stakeholders to drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline that power the Presight delivery model.
Functional
- Foster a positive SRE culture that promotes frequent releases, high levels of automation (Ansible, Terraform, Helm), and software reliability (Monitoring Tools).
- Lead and troubleshoot high priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to quickly resolve critical incidents for Linux based systems.
- Identify application patterns & analytics in support of better service level objectives while integrating self-service & resiliency patterns.
- Review and modify CI/CD principles and service maturity iteratively, striving for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose, architect and implement innovative & transformational solutions for Presight.
- Champion SRE approaches across strategic systems to predict & prevent disruptive events and improve the availability of solutions.
- Design & enable automated change, release and upgrade management practices across existing products & solutions.
- Ensure compliance with defined IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
- Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and process.
- Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide measurable improvement plans.
- Serve as primary point of contact for all matters concerning the customer and develop a trusted advisor relationship with executive sponsors by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in DevOps Operations and deployment.
- Public Cloud (Azure must), Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, python hands on is must.
- Hands on experience on Private Cloud Openstack, OpenShift.
- Hands on experience on automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
- CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins and ArgoCD) and DevOps processes must have.
- Big data technologies i.e. Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Hadoop Cluster deployment.
- At least 3 years of experience in architectural knowledge and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Shell & Python scripting.
- Handson experience on monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix.
- Handson experience on managing bare metal or virtualized environments.
- Must have knowledge of cloud networking and security.
- Strong experience on databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL.
- HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools.
- Experience on Migration of DevOps Tools / Applications / Databases.
- A highly detail-oriented and methodical approach to problem solving.
- A passion for technology, troubleshooting and customer service.
- A strongly analytical mind.
