Azizi Developments is a Parent Company, this position is in our Design Studio-Studio 360 based in Dubai, UAE Studio 360 is with 700+ personnel spanning across architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, structural and mechanical engineering, and specialist building services, Studio 360 Degree is a multi-disciplinary design and engineering consultant. The company is currently operating from three design studios located within UAE and Egypt. At present, we are designing about 5 million square meters of built-up area each year across a variety of project types, including residential, hospitality, healthcare, and special projects. As one of Azizi Developments' various businesses, we are presently experiencing fast expansion and are planning for a steady growth in the future. This primary goal is driving our efforts to expand our workforce size across all three studios to over 1,200+. Our main design studio with 350+ design and engineering team now has a brand new, state-of-the-art workspace close to Jumeirah Road, complete with cutting-edge facilities and equipment's. We are currently working on the designs for two massive masterplans and a slew of projects in Dubai, and we have big aspirations to take our design services outside the UAE to help our parent company achieve its worldwide expansion goals


This position operates at both studio and project / programme levels, serving as the focal point for communication excellence by employing project control methodologies to guarantee the successful and timely execution of projects. The Associate Project Manager is a proficient manager, communicator, problem-solver, and organizer, responsible for supervising a team of Planning Engineers. Furthermore, assist Senior Project Manager and lead external consultants and their project execution.


Responsibilities include

• Be able to plan, manage, coordinate tasks, resources, provide project management on specific projects as well as guidance and support to Design Management Teams required for effective project delivery on time and to the required quality standards.

• Provide project management support and guidance on multiple projects with efficiency, effectiveness and good time management

• Assist Design Management Teams with project management tasks, procedures and associated documentation including progress reports and schedules for Resourcing, RFIs, Change Requests, Risk Register.

• Assist the Design Management Teams with the programming of projects and responsible to maintain a high-level studio workload master programme.

• Establish and define project control procedures and identify the level of resources required to operate them coordinating with Design Management Teams. • Monitor and assist with the Design Management Team’s compliance with QAQC and documentation procedures in accordance to Studio manuals.

• Maintaining change registers and coordinating between Design Management Teams and external Consultants to facilitate and manage change request.

• Monitor and report to Studio Leadership and relevant Head of Departments on projects at risk in relation to time and quality management.

• Support the Team with effective risk management practice, coordinating between the Design Management Teams for risk reporting, risk mitigation and recovery planning, and assisting the Teams with maintaining risk registers and timely risk reporting to the Studio Leadership.

• Facilitate the project-specific procurement of external Consultants and coordinate and manage their performance and deliverables for selected projects.

• Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact with external Consultants for reporting and resolving project management and contractual matters

• Lead a team of Planning Engineers and provide necessary training/guidance. Additionally manage other planning and project management duties as assigned by the Studio leadership.

• Assist Project Manager in performing his/her duties.

• Other relevant duties as assigned by the Studio Leadership.

Experience:

Min: 10 -15 Years

Educational Qualifications:

Any Engineering Degree or Equivalent

Skills:

• Excellent Primavera, MS Office, Power BI skills

• Project Management, Problem-solving, Presentation skills

• Expert in Project Planning, Project Controls

• Strong knowledge of Design and Construction Processes

• Analytical, Decision-making skills
