About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage containerized environments that enable scalable, secure, and efficient application delivery. This role focuses on leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to support modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for container orchestration and application hosting.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement security best practices for containers and orchestration environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline application delivery.
• Maintain documentation for platform architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles.
• Must-have skills:
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, IAM, networking).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Solid understanding of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
