WeiXin Group(WXG) is responsible for the construction and operation of the Weixin ecosystem and leveraging Weixin's open platforms such as Official Accounts, Mini Programs, Weixin Pay, WeCom and search function. WXG provides solutions and connectivity for intelligent upgrades across all industries. WXG is also responsible for the development and operation of QQ Mail, WeRead and other products.

What The Role Entails

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Machine Learning Intern, you will contribute to our team's efforts in exploring and implementing advanced ML solutions for WeChat's security and content moderation systems.
  • Your work will focus on GNN applications for malicious account detection and community discovery, where you'll help design graph structures, test diffusion strategies, and validate models in production scenarios.
  • You'll also work on optimizing timeseries anomaly detection models to identify suspicious patterns in registration and login behaviors across different security contexts.
  • Additionally, you'll participate in finetuning large language models for customer complaint and report classification, ensuring our systems stay current with evolving definitions and categories through data preparation, model experimentation, and performance evaluation.

Who We Look For

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • We're looking for candidates pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields with strong Python programming skills and experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • You should have foundational knowledge of graph neural networks, time-series analysis, and natural language processing, along with familiarity with model training, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with clustering algorithms, similarity metrics, and statistical analysis would be valuable. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for this role, and any prior experience with LLM fine-tuning, LoRA, or security related ML applications would be considered a plus.
