Location: REMOTE (Company headquarter in New Jersey)
Company Size: between 500 - 1,000 Employees
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain complex code to support back-end web functionality using server-side languages like PHP and C#
• Develop all server-side aspects of functional requirements, including the creation of REST APIs, web services, and CRUD database operations
• Work with tech leads to ensure development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
• Validate code against style guides, layout files, and functional requirements across browsers and devices
• Leverage verbal and written communication skills to communicate project needs and contribute to team initiatives
• Participate in peer code reviews and look for opportunities to assist manager and mentor junior
teammates
• Work with digital producers, project managers, creative professionals, and account service managers to understand client deliverables, functionality expectations, budgets, and timelines
Job Requirements:
• 7+ years of development experience
• Bachelor’s in computer science or information systems
• 3 to 5 years of Sitecore development experience
• Expertise with .NET, C#, ASP, HTML, and SQL
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio, MVC architecture, Git
• Builds modular, flexible solutions
• Author clean, well-structured, well-documented, and reusable code
Bonus Points:
• Agency experience
• Experience working with popular CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, AEM, and Kentico
• Practical working experience with PHP
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira
• Experience mentoring fellow developers
