Role: DevOps Administrator
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Duration: 15 Months
Key Responsibilities
• COTS Application Management:
o Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain COTS platforms (OpenText Exstream, SonarQube, Jenkins, etc.).
o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.
o Implement security, backup, and recovery processes for COTS solutions.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development & Support:
o Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins.
o Automate development, testing, and deployment tasks to support rapid release cycles.
o Manage credentials, access controls, and integration with code quality tools.
• AWS Infrastructure Administration:
o Set up, configure, and monitor AWS environments and resources.
o Identify and resolve infrastructure issues; ensure systems are secure and cost-optimized.
o Support documentation, compliance, and best practices for AWS resources.
• System Administration (Linux & Windows):
o Administer and support both Linux and Windows server environments.
o Deploy software, manage user accounts/security, apply updates and patches.
o Optimize performance, establish monitoring and alerting for both platforms.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
o Work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
o Maintain detailed documentation covering installs, configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting steps.
o Provide support and training to teams using COTS platforms or related infrastructure.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years experience installing, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise COTS products (OpenText Exstream, SonarQube, Jenkins).
• Minimum 5+ years experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Minimum 3+ years experience setting up and monitoring AWS infrastructure.
• 3+ years experience administering Linux and Windows server environments.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical challenges independently.
• Solid understanding of application security, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with other COTS platforms or cloud environments.
• DevOps certifications (AWS, CI/CD, Linux, or related).
• Experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.
