About Kewordal

Kewordal (https://kewordal.com) is an innovative social education platform designed to connect learners and educators in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Our users create "Kewordal lists" to improve their academic results while building social learning communities of friends, peers, teachers, and mentors (via the support of businesses), to enhance their prospects for success. We have recently concluded a successful testing/MVP period and are currently implementing exciting updates to our site, preparing for launch in the coming months.

We are now seeking an aspiring Graphic Designer to join our mission of creating professional social media graphics and marketing brochures that effectively communicate our social education and learning vision. This voluntary opportunity offers invaluable hands-on experience to develop your creative design skills in the Tech for Good space, while contributing to meaningful educational innovation!

What You'll Do

As our Graphic Designer, you'll:

• Design engaging social media banners for various platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X) that capture attention and drive engagement
• Create professional marketing brochures showcasing Kewordal's features, benefits, and educational impact
• Develop compelling visual content for promotional campaigns and platform announcements
• Design cohesive brand materials that maintain consistency across all marketing touchpoints
• Transform key messages into visually appealing graphics that resonate with students, educators, and businesses
• Collaborate with our team to understand design briefs and iterate based on feedback
• Create template designs that can be adapted for different campaigns and audiences
• Build your design portfolio with real-world marketing projects that will impress future employers
• Gain experience in EdTech marketing design principles and audience-focused visual communication

What We're Looking For

• Creative enthusiasm and willingness to learn graphic design principles through hands-on practice
• Strong design skills or studying graphic design (portfolio helpful but not essential - we value potential over perfection)
• Access to design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, or similar - we can provide guidance on free alternatives)
• Understanding of social media platform requirements and best practices for visual content
• Strong communication and openness to feedback as part of the learning process
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while staying in regular contact with the team
• Passionate about education and excited to contribute to meaningful social impact projects
• Interest in marketing design, brand consistency, or social media graphics
• Experience in marketing design, or promotional materials (desirable)
