.We're looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our collaborative, and growing team and help build beautifully designed, data-rich web experiences.

At Prophet, we use a lot of modern stack and tools so this is your chance to get involved and work on meaningful products that make an impact.

Working closely with our Chief Developer - Clyde and Senior Front End Dev - Michael, who's goal is to build a team that everyone enjoys being a part of — growing together, whilst contributing to the company's vision and delivering great work. You’ll be exposed to ample opportunities for learning, mentorship, and career growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement responsive UI components.
• Build modern web applications using either React, styled with Tailwind
• CSS.Translate designs from Figma, Sketch or similar tools into an intuitive web app and flexible components.
• Bonus points if you can translate a wireframe from Excalidraw too!
• Visualise data using chart libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3, Recharts).
• Handle data transformation and formatting to support frontend rendering.
• Use GitHub and version control best practices to manage and review code.
• Learn and grow under mentorship while contributing to real product features.
• Write and maintain end-to-end (E2E) tests with playwright or other tools to ensure UI stability and correctness.
• Document features and code changes to support team understanding and future development.

A bit about you

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend library/framework: React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Comfortable with TailwindCSS for utility-first styling.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or AdobeXD.
• Exposure to charting libraries (e.g. Recharts, Chart.js, D3, or others).
• Experience handling data formatting and transformation on the frontend.
• Familiar with Git and version control workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
• Hold a tertiary degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, UX Design, or a related field.

Bonus points if you

• Have a side projects or contributions to open-source.
• Experience working in a startup or agile environment.
• Familiarity with basic backend concepts or APIs (REST, JSON).
• Experience writing SQL Queries (extra bonus!)
