TradeNet Solutions is an Australian SaaS company delivering whole-of-business platforms to buying groups across Australia, NZ, the UK and US — covering communication, eLearning, rebates/deals, EDI, reporting, and data distribution.

We’re a small, hands-on team that ships quickly, values clean, maintainable code, and works closely with customers. We’re looking for a Full-Stack PHP Developer (Laravel) who wants to help shape and grow our suite of SaaS platforms.

What you’ll do

• Design and build new Laravel modules, REST APIs and integrations
• Create responsive front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Alpine.js
• Apply SOLID and DRY principles to keep the codebase clean and scalable
• Support the progressive migration of an existing CodeIgniter 3 application into Laravel
• Optimise MySQL schemas, queries and performance
• Maintain code quality with reviews, static analysis and CI/CD pipelines on Azure

What we’re looking for

Required

• 4–5 years’ commercial software experience (SaaS or product-based preferred)
• Strong PHP (Laravel) skills — architecture, API design and module development
• Solid full-stack experience with front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Alpine.js)
• Strong MySQL knowledge (schema design, indexing, optimisation)
• Confident with Git/GitHub, REST APIs and collaborative workflows
• Proven understanding of SOLID and DRY principles

Preferred

• Experience with CodeIgniter 3 (legacy migration familiarity a plus)
• Exposure to Vue.js or other modern front-end frameworks (planned adoption next year)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, pipelines and cloud deployment
• Agile / JIRA experience and basic test automation (PHPUnit)
