We're forming a brand-new product squad - an empowered, cross-functional team with a clear mission: to deliver innovative, scalable, and reliable digital experiences. As our DevOps Engineer, you'll play a foundational role, building the platform capabilities that enable our engineers to deliver quickly, safely, and confidently.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, leveraging serverless technologies such as Lambda and Step Functions. 
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - ensuring our environments are reproducible, reliable, and automated. 
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to remove friction, improve deployment pipelines, and enhance system observability. 
- Contribute to the squad's technical strategy and help shape best practices around DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud architecture. 
- Support and mentor engineers in leveraging the platform effectively, helping them ship high-quality software faster. 
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in a modern engineering environment. 
- Strong expertise with AWS services - particularly serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.). 
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation). 
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation tooling. 
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills - you love enabling teams and helping others succeed. 
- Highly desirable: Experience with Kubernetes (EKS or similar), containerisation, and modern observability tooling.
