About Millionyse:
Millionyse is a dynamic digital agency dedicated to helping businesses succeed through innovative digital services. We are currently expanding our capabilities by developing new software products to better serve our clients. Our core mission is to transform businesses into success stories, and we believe our internal tools are key to that mission. We are looking for a motivated intern to join our small but ambitious team on this exciting journey.
About the Internship:
Are you a passionate design student or aspiring UX professional looking to build a high-impact portfolio? Millionyse is seeking a skilled UI/UX Design Intern (unpaid) to join our innovative team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of real software products while receiving mentorship and guidance from our experienced team.
This internship is designed as a structured, educational experience. The primary focus is on your development and skill acquisition in the context of internal product strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring our multi-faceted platform is intuitive, modern, and easy to use.
Key Learning Opportunities:
- Product Definition & Strategy: Learn how market needs and business goals are translated into prioritized design features, moving beyond isolated tasks to contribute to the larger product roadmap.
- Full-Cycle UX: Gain hands-on experience across the entire design lifecycle, from initial user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and implementation support.
- Design Systems & Scalability: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a reusable component library and style guide, learning how design consistency scales across a multi-feature platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Learn to effectively communicate and defend design decisions to Frontend Developers and product managers, focusing on feasibility and technical constraints.
- Rapid Prototyping: Develop speed and proficiency in Figma (or similar), focusing on quick iterations based on feedback, which is crucial in an MVP stage.
Responsibilities (for educational purposes):
- Flow Mapping: Create and document detailed user flows and information architecture diagrams for new core features, ensuring intuitive navigation.
- Low-Fidelity Design: Develop clear, function-focused wireframes and low-fidelity mockups based on feature specifications.
- High-Fidelity Design: Translate approved wireframes into polished, modern UI designs and interactive prototypes suitable for developer handoff.
- Usability Feedback: Assist in gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback on prototypes, summarizing findings, and suggesting design improvements.
- Asset Management: Prepare and organize design assets (icons, typography, color palettes) for implementation by the Frontend team.
Qualifications:
- Degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a professional design tool (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
- A strong, organized portfolio demonstrating a clear understanding of UI principles and the UX process (wireframes, user flows, visual design).
- Solid grasp of fundamental usability heuristics, responsive design principles, and basic web standards (HTML/CSS limitations).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable articulating design reasoning and accepting constructive criticism.
Internship Details:
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
- Duration: Minimum of 3 months to obtain a letter of completion.
- Location: The role is fully remote.
- Completion: A Letter of Completion will be provided upon successful completion of the internship.
How to Apply: Please email your CV and a brief cover letter explaining why you are a great fit for this specific learning opportunity at Millionyse to [email protected]. In your cover letter, please highlight your experience and your passion for UI/UX Designing.
