ABOUT US:
Hi. We’re amp And we’ll get straight to the point: we’re building the next evolution of interactive fitness.
We’re a team of about +90 tech-obsessed fitness fanatics who believe workouts should be as engaging as they are effective. So, we started from scratch—rethinking every part of the experience. And we think we’ve built something that will change the game.
Our team comes from some of the biggest names in tech and fitness—including Apple, Twitter, Facebook, Playtika, Lumo, and Athos. We’ve got professional trainers, Stanford fitness experts, and an exercise science PhD who has personally trained Olympic medalists. Together, we’re developing something revolutionary that keeps users engaged, progressing, and enjoying the process.
DATA ANALYST / DATA ENGINEER:
As a Data Analyst / Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Infrastructure:
- Design, build, and refine our data and analytics infrastructure. Build and monitor ETLs and data pipelines from multiple data sources.
- Design and develop a real-time events pipeline and find new ways to leverage this data. Gain expertise with front-end tagging tools (GTM) as well as our platform data collection architecture.
- Develop complex and efficient pipelines to transform raw data sources into powerful, reliable components of our DWH. Structure the company’s DWH according to user needs and our business logic.
- Work hand-in-hand with engineering leaders and product leaders to implement your solutions quickly and effectively.
- Master the integration of data processes across multiple 1P and 3P platforms.
- Master user journeys, tracking, analytics, and measurement solutions.
Analytics:
- Create and maintain marketing KPI reports and dashboards.
- Implement scaled solutions with dashboarding tools and 3P analytics platforms.
- Develop and run quantitative analysis, models, reports, and more with the end goal of supporting our overall growth initiatives.
- Explore new and emerging acquisition and retention opportunities, surfacing new ideas that may lead to breakthroughs in growth or challenges.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for the team and identify factors to improve acquisition performance and user retention.
- Constantly measure, analyze, and produce insights and visibility on performance to keep improving our marketing and our platform
- Innovate across the broader team to drive cross-functional initiatives to develop, test and scale new ways in which we can optimize and personalize our offerings.
- Work with marketing, product, customer support and management to better understand where data can be useful to ‘move the needle’.
- Support upper management in tasks that will bolster bottom line, profitability, user satisfaction, product recommendations or strategy.
Who you are:
- Extremely Detailed Oriented! (no compromises!)
- Independent executor who can handle ALL stages of execution. From ideation through implementation and scale.
- A “rolled up sleeves” attitude, self-learner, problem solver
- Structured, methodological, and (super!) organized, but at the same time - flexible to a fast-changing environment and priorities.
- Doesn’t need a system to succeed, willing to work in small teams with an entrepreneurial environment, and play a significant role in the squad
Minimum requirements:
- B.A / B.Sc degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science).
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer. Preference towards those with experience as a data analyst focused on acquisition and retention at an e-commerce / D2C brand with a high volume of complex data.
- Experience with ETL / Data Pipeline tools and processes.
- Experience with Python, R, Google Analytics, Looker, or Amplitude.
- Experience querying data warehouses (SQL), analyzing data, and arriving at insights using qualitative techniques.
- Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment with the ability to quickly get up to speed, iterate, and take on other projects
