The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and operational management of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, cloud services, endpoint devices, and service desk operations. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of IT systems while delivering excellent support services to end users.
Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure & Network Management· Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
· Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
· Monitor and optimize network performance and availability.
Endpoint Management· Manage lifecycle of endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, etc.).
· Implement and maintain endpoint security, patching, and compliance policies.
· Utilize endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, SCCM) for provisioning and monitoring.
Service Desk Oversight· Lead and improve IT service desk operations to ensure timely and effective support.
· Define SLAs, KPIs, and processes for incident, request, and problem management.
· Foster a customer-focused culture and continuous improvement mindset.
Team Leadership· Manage and mentor infrastructure and support teams.
· Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with other IT and business units.
Security & Compliance· Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure infrastructure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 27001,
GDPR).
· Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Vendor & Budget Management· Manage vendor relationships and procurement of infrastructure-related services and products.
· Develop and control budgets for infrastructure and support operations.
Project Management· Lead infrastructure and endpoint-related projects (e.g., migrations, upgrades, rollouts).
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in IT
infrastructure and support management.
· Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), endpoint management, and ITSM frameworks.
· Experience with tools like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, ServiceNow, or similar.
