Job Title: Senior Cloud/ Security Architect

Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: Ghent, Belgium

Working Environment: Hybrid; 3 days per week onsite

Languages: English C1 + French C1 OR Dutch C1

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the implementation of the Azure cloud security strategy and controls.
• Design and oversee the implementation of Microsoft 365 (access and endpoint) security, including Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
• Monitor and manage vulnerability management processes
• Follow up on and analyze security incidents
• Oversee and improve the SOC service, including defining and ensuring implementation of use cases
• Monitor the Security Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including security reviews of changes and architectural proposals.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as an ICT Security Architect
• Proven experience with risk management
• Solid understanding and experience with ITIL
• Basic knowledge of Belgian NIS2 and privacy legislation, with insight into the key organizational obligations and their impact on information security and governance
• Experience with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and security monitoring of such infrastructures/applications (demonstrated through reference projects listed in the CV)
• Proactive and autonomous working style
• Strong sense of responsibility

Technical Expertise:

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Entra ID
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender
• Experience in the Belgian energy market
• Experience integrating systems with a managed SOC (Security Operations Center) and SIEM technologies
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Intune and Mobile Application Management (MAM)
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Sentinel
