We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemist/Material Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in chemistry, with hands-on experience in laboratory settings and a passion for scientific innovation.
Technical Skills Required:
- Experience with standard chemical laboratory equipment and processes, including maintenance and calibration of instruments, data validation, and standard equipment troubleshooting
- Experience with typical chemical laboratory reagents, with particular experience in the use of acids and their solutions
- Knowledge of the physicochemical properties of carbon materials and their characterization methods (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, composition analysis)
- Previous experience in data interpretation, proper documentation, and writing detailed technical reports in both academic and industrial settings
- Experienced in developing new experimental processes
- Familiarity with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a closely related field (required)
- Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
Professional Experience:
- 1+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial, academic, or research environment
- Proven experience in conducting chemical experiments, maintaining lab equipment and writing experiment reports
Additional Qualities:
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in English (working level, both written and spoken)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on scientific advancements
