Matrix One is seeking a Backend Engineer in Greater Paris region (or rest of France for the right candidate), to further the growth of its suite of software products. Matrix One enables medical devices companies to Design - Connect - Launch their devices for fast certification and global compliance. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Backend REST APIs and services
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Write automated unit and integration tests.
• Support testing and documentation, including requirements detailing, specification, design etc.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in Code Review and other activities as required.
• Participate in customer issue resolution as required.
• Work with team members to design innovative software programs that improve and simplify experience for customers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 – 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Java.
• Understanding of ORM technologies like Hibernate.
• Experience in unit testing frameworks like Junit.
• Some frontend experience is preferred, specifically in React or Angular.
• Working knowledge on project management tools such as JIRA.
• Competency with version control on GIT
• Proficiency in writing technical documentation
