Back End Developer

Senior Backend Engineer | Dublin (Hybrid)

We are working with an Irish startup focused on helping salons succeed, and they are growing quickly. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who’s ready to build, take ownership, and make a real impact.

You’ll take the lead on key backend systems, design for global scale, and work closely with a small, passionate team that actually ships. If you love solving tough problems, mentoring others, and working in a space where your ideas matter, this one’s for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building scalable, high-performance services with Node.js and SQL
• Owning major backend components from design to deployment
• Working cross-functionally with product and frontend teams
• Making architectural decisions that shape the platform’s future

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of backend experience
• Strong skills in Node.js, SQL, and RESTful APIs
• Some cloud know-how (AWS, Docker, etc.)
• A startup mindset, curious, hands-on, and collaborative
