Role Description:

The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and improve operational performance. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, measure efficiency, and provide data-driven recommendations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Data Analyst ensures that accurate, timely, and relevant information is available to guide business strategies and optimize processes.

Key responsibilities include extracting and cleaning data from multiple sources, conducting statistical analyses, and creating dashboards and visual reports that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs). The Data Analyst will support business forecasting, performance tracking, and process improvement initiatives by delivering insights based on robust data analysis. They will also contribute to the development of automated reporting systems and data governance practices, ensuring consistency and data integrity across the organization.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and curious, with a passion for solving problems through data. They combine technical proficiency with strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is an advantage.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on data quality and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
