Job Description
Wix Events is a team based in Vilnius. We’re working to develop best in class product to create beautiful invites, set up seating maps, sell tickets and check-in guests. We have a wide range of users creating events for their weddings, music shows or conferences. We’re Open Platform believers and provide our APIs for others to use and build on top.
Our technology stack is based on Scala. On top we are using Wix internal tools and infrastructure to provide developers with convenient ways to develop, test and release their code to production.
We’re also fans of our product and we are always looking for ways to innovate to provide an amazing experience for Wix Events users.

Job Description
- Join a team working on Wix Events - a product for Wix users to set up their events, sell tickets, manage guest lists and more
- Take a part in building fast and reliable APIs used by millions
- Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, UX designers and other team members to produce a high quality product
- Gain experience working with top level developers and continue the learning process through Guild activities and advanced learning sessions
- Start on the right track with extensive onboarding preparation
- You have at least 2 years of experience in backend development
- You’re constantly learning and keeping up with industry standards
- You have good English communication skills
- You have good analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
- You are a team player who is eager to collaborate and brainstorm with your team mates
