NATO CLEARED Senior Network Engineer

Role Summary:

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a 6–12 month contract based onsite in Capellen, Luxembourg (5 days per week). This contract will be working with one of the largest Cisco Gold Partners in Europe. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performing network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) for our client within a NATO environment.

This role requires active NATO Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise network solutions across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments.
• Configure and deploy routers, switches, and access points to meet client and security standards.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, resolving complex issues as Level 3 support.
• Conduct capacity planning and propose scalability and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and participate in project planning.
• Stay up to date with networking trends and technologies, sharing best practices with the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in network engineering, ideally in secure or mission-critical environments.
• Active NATO Secret Clearance (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, and QoS.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills.
• Must be a Native from NATO Country

Contract Details:

• Contract Length: 6–12 months (possible extension)
• Start date: January 2026
• Day rate: Negotiable
