At Deloitte we’re growing our engineering team for IOC (International Olympic Committee) and looking for a Kafka Engineer / Node.js Consultant who’s passionate about modern architectures, scalable solutions, and cutting-edge technology.

The IOC Technology Department drives innovation across the Olympic Movement — from digital fan experiences and live data streaming to cloud-native platforms and API ecosystems.

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and data specialists collaborates to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing digital services for the Olympic Games and beyond.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Node.js using TypeScript
• Typescript is hard requirement. No experience with this excludes that candidate.
• Experience with Node frameworks like Fastify and Express
• Experience with API integration, tools like Postman
• Experience with mapping database objects to server-side code
• Prisma ORM experience is a plus
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks, like Jest
• Basic “foundational skills” Git/Bash/Command line are required
• React experience
• Docker/Kubernetes experience
• ·Kafka experience preferred, not required
• ·Websocket/server sent events experience preferred, not required
