Senior Fullstack Developer

OysterLink is the newest and fastest-growing restaurant & hospitality job site. The site just launched recently and is generating over 300,000 monthly visitors organically.

We are seeking a senior-level Full-Stack Developer who can:

• Produce high-quality code that follows best practices, is fully covered by tests and is optimized
• Work with Node.js for backend, Next.js for frontend, MySQL database, Redis for caching, and a Microservices architecture

The GOALS for this position is to:

• Be efficient and precise with your work, produce high-quality features and stay on track with advances in technology, especially AI.

Required Skills:

• You are an expert developer and a motivated AI enthusiast.
• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong background in React, NextJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive solutions to completion.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fully remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain features and services
• Contribute to solution design and implementation details; provide input during technical discussions.
• Estimate tasks and deliver on time.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code with unit/integration tests; contribute to CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold team coding standards and best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the stack; own features from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps to align on requirements and delivery.
• Monitor performance and reliability; add and improve observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
• Research relevant tools and approaches; share findings to improve team efficiency and product quality.
