You’ll be working on Vantage, Aurora’s proprietary platform that helps advertisers manage their advertising accounts and finances. Vantage has been a key driver of our success, contributing to over 300% revenue growth, and you’ll play a key role in taking it to the next level.

What You’ll Do


  • Build and optimise scalable, high-performance web applications used daily by clients and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end features using Next.js, NestJS, TypeORM and PostgreSQL
  • Integrate with third-party APIs, including Meta and Google
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales and Account Management teams to deliver new features and improve user experience
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following best practices
  • Troubleshoot, improve performance and ensure system reliability and stability
  • Apply strong security standards, particularly around payments and advertising metrics

What We’re Looking For


  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering for modern web applications
  • 2+ years with Next.js (portfolio or code samples required)
  • 2+ years with NestJS (portfolio or code samples required)
  • 3+ years with Node.js
  • 1+ year with TypeORM and PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable working across both front-end and back-end systems
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Romanian, Bulgarian or Hungarian

Nice to Have


  • Experience in AdTech, FinTech or consumer-facing SaaS
  • Passion for high-performance, production-grade systems
  • A habit of writing clean, scalable and efficient code
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience

Hiring Process


Two interviews:

  1. A technical interview led by our Head of Engineering, focused on previous work, code samples and technical ability.
  2. A final interview led by our COO, focused on soft skills, cultural fit and overall approach.
