The Vegetation and Landscape Ecology team consists of approximately 20 people and conducts research from an ecological perspective on possibilities for conservation, restoration, development, and sustainable use of vegetation and landscape. Our focus is on how management, policy, and climate interventions impact ecological processes. In our advice and products, we address the implications for biodiversity, specific policy goals, and ecosystem services.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a PhD Position - Restoration of Riverine Grasslands, located in Wageningen. The role involves conducting scientific research, designing and implementing field experiments, analyzing data, and writing scientific publications. The PhD candidate will also collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders, participate in project meetings and present research findings. Some work from home is acceptable.

• Knowledge of vegetation and landscape ecology is a plus
