We are now looking for an ICT Program Director / Manager to lead strategic programs within the Cloud Software and Services (CSS) – Business and Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS) domain. In this role, you will be accountable for driving complex transformation programs to successful delivery — meeting scope, time, cost, and quality targets as agreed with the program sponsor and customer.
You will act as the main interface between Ericsson and the customer, ensuring program governance, stakeholder engagement, financial performance, and overall customer satisfaction. This is a key leadership role requiring a mix of strategic vision, strong customer focus, and operational excellence.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to position Ericsson as a trusted strategic partner.
- Lead large-scale transformation programs, managing end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams and vendors.
- Define and secure program scope, establish governance structure, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
- Manage program financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor management, ensuring alignment with Ericsson’s delivery commitments, governance, and security standards.
- Drive contract execution strategy, cost estimation, resource planning, and execution excellence.
- Identify and lead add-on sales opportunities to support top and bottom-line growth.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
- Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate third-party vendors and subcontractors throughout the full program lifecycle.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with Ericsson and customer standards.
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management within the ICT sector.
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs (>10M USD) in Operator environments within BSS/OSS domains.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Systems Integration and prime vendor delivery.
- Strong domain experience in Ericsson Charging, Billing, Mediation, Order Care, and Catalogue Manager implementations.
- PMI PMP® certification or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program governance, financials, and customer relationships at executive level.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- People management experience and/or MBA is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Ericsson Business Process (EBP), ITIL, and eTOM frameworks.
- Experience working in multi-national, matrixed, and virtual environments.
- Proven ability to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in delivery methodology and practices.
