About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to lead the development of our Back Office & Compliance Systems — the internal platform used by operations and compliance teams to manage the full client lifecycle.

This role will focus on building in-house tools that enable efficient account verification, transaction monitoring, and approvals, as well as AML/KYC enforcement.

You will define the logic and workflows that empower internal teams to review, flag, and act on client data — ensuring scalability, accuracy, and full regulatory compliance.

This position sits at the intersection of product, compliance, and technology, requiring someone who can translate complex regulatory and business requirements into structured, intuitive, and high-performing back-office systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and backlog for the internal Back Office and Compliance systems.
• Define and manage requirements for account verification workflows and risk scoring tools.
• Design and optimize transaction monitoring systems to detect suspicious or unusual activity.
• Collaborate with compliance and business teams to ensure internal tools meet regulatory standards.
• Integrate KYC/AML logic, sanction list checks, and alerts into automated workflows.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to implement rules engines and reporting dashboards.
• Ensure traceability and reporting for all compliance actions and client account updates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in fintech, banking, or compliance technology.
• Deep understanding of KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring frameworks.
• Proven experience in building or managing back-office or compliance systems (in-house or vendor-based).
• Strong ability to translate regulatory and operational processes into structured product requirements.
• Experience collaborating with compliance, data, designers, product owners, and engineering stakeholders.
• Familiarity with transaction and KYC approval flows, and AML rules.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills; attention to data accuracy and regulatory consistency.
• Proficient with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Have

• Experience with regulatory technology (RegTech) products or compliance automation systems.
• Familiarity with brokerage reporting obligations.
• Background in multi-jurisdiction regulatory compliance (EU, MENA, offshore).
• Understanding of data warehouse structures and internal monitoring dashboards.
