We are seeking a curious, analytical, and creative Consumer Insights & Trend Analyst to decode consumer behavior, market movements, and cultural trends — transforming them into actionable insights that drive product innovation, marketing strategies, and brand growth.
This role sits at the crossroads of data analysis, strategy, and creativity, helping the company understand what consumers want today — and what they’ll crave tomorrow.
The ideal candidate combines data-driven analysis with storytelling and cultural awareness, passionate about food, design, and emerging global trends.
Key Responsibilities:Consumer Insights & Market Analysis:- Collect, analyze, and interpret consumer data, surveys, and purchase behavior to identify key drivers of brand engagement.
- Monitor category performance, competitive activity, and pricing trends across the chocolate and food industries.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and innovation teams to translate insights into strategic business opportunities.
- Provide regular reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key market learnings and forecasts.
- Track customer feedback from retail, e-commerce, and social media channels to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Research and forecast emerging trends in food, flavors, packaging, sustainability, and consumer culture.
- Identify macro and micro trends in lifestyle, design, and social behavior that could inspire new product ideas or campaigns.
- Maintain a trend library and quarterly insight reports to guide innovation and marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with the Innovation and R&D teams to ensure new product concepts reflect current and upcoming market desires.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking — tracking positioning, innovation, and brand tone of voice across key players.
- Analyze market data from research firms, POS systems, and digital analytics tools.
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations for brand differentiation and growth.
- Work closely with the Partnerships and Brand Experience teams to identify new collaboration or category opportunities.
- Build and maintain insight dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Convert complex data into clear stories and visual insights for management and creative teams.
- Present findings that inspire new ideas — not just reports, but strategic narratives that fuel innovation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Consumer Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in consumer insights, trend analysis, or market research (FMCG or lifestyle industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Experience with data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of trend forecasting, cultural analysis, and consumer segmentation.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills — able to turn data into inspiration.
- Creative mindset with a passion for food, design, culture, and innovation.
- Fluent in English (Arabic or French is a plus).
