This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack, has a strong sense of product ownership, and is eager to grow their expertise in AI application development and modern engineering practices — including the use of AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.

  • Leverage AI-powered development tools (for example, AI-assisted coding, test generation, and architecture exploration) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
  • Build reusable, modular components and APIs that promote performance and consistency across Diligent’s product ecosystem.
  • Write secure, testable, and high-quality code while contributing to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews to help shape the evolution of Diligent’s AI service infrastructure.
  • Work closely with UX and product teams to deliver seamless, user-centered experiences.
  • Stay current with emerging AI and software development trends, identifying opportunities to apply new technologies responsibly and effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience building and deploying fullstack web applications, including frontend and backend components.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, maintainable architecture, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional agile teams.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven design, and modular component development.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as code assistants, AI debuggers, or design copilots) to enhance software development speed, quality, and creativity.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
  • Passion for continuous learning and for exploring how AI can transform software engineering..

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to AI and LLM applications, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or semantic search.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
  • Understanding of event-based and distributed architectures

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
